The missionary spirit, zeal and enthusiasm of our sisters, opened the eyes of our superiors to open a new centre at Bana in the diocese of Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. With the request of Rt. Rev. Bishop John Thomas DD, Rev. Fr. Hector
SJ, invited us to Bana and a new house was opened on 7th June 2012 at Bana.
Rev. Mother Aloshia, the Provincial Superior and Sr. Lilly Maria the councellor with Sr. Bright and Sr. Jane Therese (the community members) left for Bana on 6th June and reached there on 7th. A rented house was arranged by the father for the sisters to stay till a convent is built. The main activities of the sisters are to take care of the children in the school, village visit, catechetical work. The convent is yet to be build. At present the sisters stay in the school building.
